We collected driftwood for our fire.

 Keith and Finn.

We toasted sausages and had bacon and egg pie and later; marshmallows.

 Keith serenaded us.

Then we went into town to watch Matt and his band play.

 They were great!

Heaven is a place on earth where you tell me all the things you want to do

This is the view I wake up to most mornings seen blurrily though condensation. The moisture bothers me, but the cat enjoys licking the windows when they are moist. It has been so cold and damp that no matter how many socks and jerseys I wear my nose still runs, we have been having truly awful weather.

Yesterdays breakfast of pancakes kiwi fruit and persimmon smoothy.

In the afternoon we took a break from study and went to the movies to see Prometheus, it was ok... There were some cool moments and it probably didn't help I have not seen Alien/s but the whole thing left you with the exact questions you came in with, which is most likely the reason for my vague feeling of dissatisfaction.

Snow

We woke up to snow today.

I made eggs Benedict and did some study

We went for a walk to the park.

Under all the snow there are still lots of Autumn leaves, the snow came very early this year.

When we got home we made some mulled wine to warm up.

Ice Skating on a Saturaday Night

Last night we went ice skating where there were heaps of people attracted by the coloured lights, loud music and opportunity to show off.

We went with Chris's astronomy friends; Jamie, Gemma and Wills.

Wills hat was ridiculously large on me.

It was actually a great Saturday night. Watching other people skate was almost more fun than the activity itself. My favorites were the girls wearing short shorts with bare legs trying to attract boys who ice skate??

Last Class of My Bachelor Degree

Yesterday was the my last class at uni (ever if I fail to get into honors, though hopefully that won't happen). So Chris and I biked into Riccarton early to celebrate.

 We had breakfast at Drexels.

 Chris had peach french toast.

And we played silly games in the Timezone next door.

We won 109 tickets (these places really prepare kids for gambling). And got a barrel of monkeys and a couple lollies as prizes. I have one more essay and two exams before I am done, which will decide what I am doing next semester. Exciting times.
