Zoo

 Yesterday we took the bus to Willowbank Wildlife Reserve. Keegan.

My favorites were the otters (Chris likes them too; sea weasels).

 There were lots of opportunities to feed the animals which made them very friendly. There was the most fantastic kiwi house too.

 In the evening we went to Volstead for a couple of drinks, which is almost like a hidden bar in Riccarton.

 This was Keegan's last day in Christchurch and Uni starts back on Monday. Back to life.

Games. Hats required.

 Last night we had a games night/hat party at our house.

 There was mulled wine.

 And a big pile of games and party poppers with Finn and Keegan.

 Two of the neighbors (who you will remember we exchanged signs in the window with) came too. Krissy was one of them and there is Matt and Molly.

 It was a good night and most people seemed keen to make it happen again. (Hi!)

 It has been very rainy and cold.

I have been watching Buffy and making hundreds and thousands cookies. (By making I mean icing and sprinkling on already existent cookies)

Pancakes, Stickers and Hats

 This morning we went to Drexels for pancakes.

 Keegan was there.

This is just a few things I have bought in the last couple days. Two Ghost Ghost comics from Armageddon Alice in Wonderland stickers (I am in love) and a tiny hat; the purpose of which will become clear in the very near future.

 Keegan is staying with us for the next week! Today we went to Keith and Finn and Matt's place and then Armageddon. Also I took a moment to notice how nice my new shoes look on their flowery floor.

 They have not been harvesting their lemons, so I relieved them of a few (I have a bit of a cold which they might help remedy).

Sand and Band

 Then we went into town to watch Matt and his band play.
